Data protection notice
This dashboard shows personal information about named employees, read from team files and the shared folder you choose. Nothing is sent to this website. Your employer is responsible for this data. Only use it with your employer's approval, on a company device, and keep the files in your company's approved, access-controlled SharePoint location. Do not email files or store them on personal devices. Clear data from this browser when you have finished.
A matrix you build or edit in the Skills Matrix Builder on this browser appears here by itself, and updates as you type. For other teams on other computers, link the shared folder below, or use Save data file in the builder and add those files here. If a team appears both ways, the newest one is used. Adding a file for a team that is already here replaces the old one. Names stay in this browser. Keep only what you have a reason to hold, and follow your own data protection rules.
Teams
What needs attention first
Skills with the same name in different teams are grouped. The coverage is the number of people signed off in date, against the number each team said it needs.
What it does
It reads the matrices that teams have built and applies the same rules to each one. It does not take anyone's word for a level: a level 3 or 4 counts only when a named assessor other than the operator has signed it off and the date is inside the valid period set in that team's matrix.
The measures
- Cover against target: for each skill, the signed-off people counted up to the number the team said it needs, added up across the team, as a share of the total needed.
- Critical skills covered: critical skills that have at least as many signed-off people as the team needs.
- Claimed but not counted: people shown as competent (level 3 or 4) whose sign-off is missing, self-signed, or out of date. A high number means the matrix looks better than the evidence.
- Expiring in 90 days: signed-off people whose sign-off runs out within three months. Plan re-checks before cover drops.
- Key person risks: people who are the only signed-off cover for three or more skills.
- File age: a team file saved more than 90 days ago is flagged, because the figures may be out of date.
Limits
No gaps found does not mean the company is competent. The dashboard checks the record, not the people. Teams may define skills and targets differently, so compare with care, and have a competent person judge the sign-offs. Check your own legal duties on training and competence.
